Thirteen-year-old Karim returns to Morocco seven years after his mother’s death. Karim’s father Messaoud has remarried and decided that it’s time for him to leave Paris and return to his home country. Their reunion is colder than expected. Karim meets the neighbourhood kids and discovers the shadier parts of town.
