It’s work experience week for best friends Bert and Åke. While Åke is doing his work placement at Bert’s dad’s optician shop, Bert draws the short straw and ends up at a restaurant, Tippen, with the bully Klimpen. At the same time, something happens that will change everything for them. Åke has fallen in love for the first time in his life.

Bamse and the Secret of the Sea is about being an outsider, about finding a friend. It is also about Captain Buster who is prepared to do anything for the title of The Terror of the Sea. Nothing can stop him from trying to be the toughest on the sea. Not even the world’s biggest sea monster.
