BUFF works to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you input. BUFF complies with appropriate measures to industry standards to protect users’ personal data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, and therefore BUFF cannot guarantee its absolute security. • User’s passwords are salted and hashed, following best practices from OWASP
• Users have access to their own data. Their data is not visible publicly or to other users.
• Admins have access to user data, including name, email, age, among others.
